The CLKin ports and OSCin can be driven by differential signals. TI recommends setting the input mode to differential (CLKINX_SE_MODE = 0) when using differential reference clocks. The LMK0461xinternally AC couples the inputs. An optional AC-coupling cap can be connected as shown in input termination sachems. The recommended circuits for driving the CLKin or OSCin pins with either LVDS or LVPECL are shown in Figure 19 and Figure 20.

NOTE
The signal level must conform to the requirements for the CLKin pins listed in Clock Input Characteristics (CLKinX). CLKINX_SE_MODE is recommended to be set to differential mode (CLKINX_SE_MODE = 0).
