9.2.2 TPD1S514-1 USB 2.0/3.0 Case 2: PMIC Controlled EN
The TPD1S514 Family offers more flexibility to system designers to power up the system during a dead battery condition. Refer to Figure 13, the VBUS_POWER pin supplies 4.95 V and 3 mA to power the PMIC in a dead battery condition. Regardless of EN state, VBUS_POWER is available to the PMIC. Utilizing this power, the PMIC can enable the TPD1S514 Family of devices when a valid VBUS_CON voltage is present.
